- EdgesEdge finishing that cracks or lifts in normal use.
Not covered
- Patina and natural marksDarkening, softening and small marks are how full-grain leather ages. They are not defects.
- AccidentsCuts, burns, tears, pet damage or a bag caught in a door.
- Water, heat and stainsSoaking, drying on a radiator, ink, oil or dye transfer.
- Normal wearScuffed corners and worn edges after years of daily use.
This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the law where you live. It does not reduce them.

The atelier reviews the photo and tells you what we can do.

Repair or replace
We repair your bag in Marrakech, or replace it if a repair is not possible. We pay the shipping both ways.

Your bag comes back to you, tracked, with import duties paid.
Why we can promise it
Made to last, so we can say so.
A guarantee is only as good as the bag behind it. Ours starts with how each one is made, by hand, in our atelier in Marrakech.
- Saddle-stitch
- Two needles and one waxed thread. If a single stitch breaks, the seam still holds.
- Full-grain leather
- The top layer of the hide, the strongest grade. Never split, bonded or corrected leather.
- Solid brass
- Hardware that does not flake or peel like plated metal.
- Burnished edges
- Sanded, dyed and polished by hand, so they wear smoothly.

About the guarantee
How long is the Velvinci guarantee?
Two years from the day your bag is delivered. It covers the hand stitching and the hardware of every Velvinci bag.
Is the patina on my bag a defect?
No. Full-grain leather darkens, softens and picks up small marks as you use it. This patina is the reason people choose full-grain leather, and it is not covered because nothing is wrong.
How do I make a claim?
Email [email protected] or use the contact form with your order number and a photo of the problem. We reply with the next steps.
Who pays shipping for a repair?
We do. For a repair under the guarantee, Velvinci pays the shipping to our atelier in Marrakech and back to you.
What is the difference between the guarantee and returns?
Returns let you send back a bag within 30 days for free if it is not right for you. The guarantee covers faults in the stitching and hardware for two years.
Do I need to register my bag?
No. Your order number is all we need.
Something not right with your bag?
Write to the atelier with your order number and a photo. A real person will reply.
